Yamaha YDP-V240 Arius Ensemble Features Great Piano Touch And Tone, Along With Hundreds Of Instrument Voices
Yamaha has debuted its new YDP-V240 Arius Ensemble Rosewood spinet digital piano. The model is the first in the Arius line to include hundreds of built-in instrument Voices and Styles of music genres and songs that expand the instrument's capabilities and bring virtually unlimited interactive musical enjoyment.
"Many digital piano customers are looking for more than just 88 weighted keys," said Dane Madsen, Digital Piano marketing manager, Yamaha Keyboard Division. "The YDP-V240 Arius Ensemble packs a lot of features into the already successful cabinet design of the Arius line of digital pianos. And the 'V' stands for versatile."

Yamaha YDP-V240
In addition to the 88-key Graded Hammer Standard action, and industry-leading AWM (Advanced Wave Memory) and genuine Yamaha piano tones, the YDP-V240 features 131 other Voices including Yamaha's Sweet, Cool and Live instrument voices and 191 interactive auto-accompaniment Styles, as well as XGlite song file compatibility with thousands of professionally produced MIDI files available at www.yamahamusicsoft.com. In addition to 6-track recording capabilities, the instrument also offers USB connectivity. The popular classic Rosewood spinet style cabinet includes a padded bench.
"Today, digital piano customers demand more features," continued Madsen. "They realize that an ensemble-style instrument doesn't distract a player from practicing their piano, it engages them so that they play more."
The YDP-V240 is expected to ship in March 2010.
