Yamaha Presents Its Lowest Priced Digital Piano Ever: The P-35
Yamaha Keyboard Division introduces its lowest-priced digital piano offering ever – the P-35. Available at authorized Yamaha dealers nationwide, the instrument features Yamaha's Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) action, Duo Mode, MIDI In and Out ports and iPad connectivity with Yamaha's optional I-MX1 interface, while offering the exceptional touch, tone and heritage that players expect from Yamaha acoustic pianos.
"By boiling an instrument down to just the essence of what makes a digital piano a Yamaha – the touch and tone – we were able to achieve a new lower price point," says Dane Madsen, Yamaha Digital Piano Marketing Manager. "The P-35 will put Yamaha digital piano quality within the reach of more musicians than ever."

The P-35 lets two people practice side-by-side using Duo mode, a distinctive benefit that makes it ideal for schools or teaching group lessons. This feature accommodates two students per piano, each with their own 44-keys and middle C.
Additionally, the P-35 digital piano features Yamaha's GHS action, which provides authentic piano touch that's suitable for beginner pianists. Yamaha's Advanced Wave Memory (AWM) sampling technology reproduces the rich piano tone perfected by a company that's been making acoustic pianos for over a century.

With simple one-button operation, users are never more than one touch away from the P-35's best piano Voice setting. A MIDI Out port connects to an older keyboard that might feature a particular sound a player is looking for, but lacks the weighted piano touch. Use an optional MIDI interface to connect to a computer or iPad for access to a variety of music apps, such as NoteStar, Piano Diary and Song Chords.
"The P-35 is Yamaha's most affordable 88-note weighted action digital piano," says Nate Tschetter, Yamaha Electronic Keyboard Product Manager. "It can serve both as a great feeling, easy-to-transport gigging piano or a keyboard controller for your laptop computer."
The P-35 ($499.00 MSRP) is now shipping.
